Saw this in my news feed. I also heard an interview with a former NCAA guy who said something to the effect "this will allow SA's to engage in advertising with local restaurants or car dealerships, for example." Hmmm, really? I guess they may have a clause that the SA can't engage in promotions of companies with whom the U has a preexisting promotional contract, and that a PSA can't be "lured" to the school with "promises" of such contracts....but it's hard to see how much of that will be enforced. . Think how this could interplay with loose rules regarding transfers? Could this be great for UO?. Gonna get interesting. Anyway. the times they are a changing....
