So he may have handled the firing of Helf poorly in some eyes, but I gotta believe that it was important for him to be at the CFB meetings this week.
Where else can you get face time with so many peers from around the country and get a handle on potential hires?
Personally, I think that it was critical that he was there.
I'm just sorry that the coaches were hung out for three days.
