I managed to follow the meet and the game simultaneously.
The AD will get a complete report up later today. I'll try to post it, if someone else doesn't beat me to it.
For those of you who might not be aware of it, this meet is the Indoor track conference championships. There is no Pac 12 Indoor championship meet. However The MPSF has a lot more schools in it than just Pac 12 schools. So, it is actually more major than a Pac 12 conference championship in terms of entries.
In the end, the Oregon men edged out USC in the team competition. The USC women edged out the Oregon women in the team competition. However, it really doesn't matter. Oregon wasn't there to win the MPSF championship. They were there to qualify athletes for the NCAA championships. The same could be said of USC. The coaches held some key athletes out or back who were already certain of qualifying for the Dance. However, some outstanding athletes, like Hannah Cunliffe, still competed...and competed hard.
Next stop is the NCAA Indoor championships.
