In the press conference Meek asked WT about the impact of work out gate and DUI on recruiting. He responded regarding the work out situation. Coach responded with we did nothing wrong, we kind of laughed at it (the reporting), it was sad the way it was reported, it was unfortunate the way it was reported, that it was reported the wrong way and was bogus. I think he was clear on his opinion of the media!

Meek responds today with a column that correctly quotes coach and then questions his integrity. Meek says he has changed his tone since his original statements and says he doesn't sound contrite and wonders if he was sincere in his apology. He then says it is the coach has an issue with the reporting and has a right to, BUT then repeats everything they reported in an effort to argue the RG 'side' (I know it is a column and not a news article).

IMHO I felt Meek was putting coach on notice that they would be watching and judging every move he makes (as if it is their job to be the watchdog). It will be interesting to see how the relationship between the RG and football program proceeds. Personally, I am proud of the coach for calling them out on their jacked up agenda to their face.
