Well Just read an update on one of our relationship 3 star TE verbal commits Tre Mckitty. When asked how solid he was with his verbal with Oregon his reply was "Um, right now I really don’t know,” McKitty said. “My dad’s been really talking to me about staying close to home. I’m still thinking about a lot of things right now.”
Alot of Duck fans didn't think we would hold onto this TE and it would appear as though your words may be prophetic. He has visited FSU, today was in Miami....opps they lost today , and I believe Auburn is the school that is next for him according to an article from 247sports today.
So what or how does Oregon go about holding on to him or can they realistically. I have a few thoughts about this but it just doesn't work these days with these kids,their families and social media. Anyone got any ideas, suggestions or does a school at a certain point talk to a kid and confront them on something like this? Send a coach or 2 and go over what was said and discussed,what was offered,what was liked when he visited and now why has this changed. Does a team ever Ask them to decommit or just let it play out.
,, does this affect how Oregon continues to recruit the TE position? ....... IDK what do any of you think?
