I just chatted for a bit with Lamar about his visit this weekend. Very tough to hear him with lots of background chatter. But what I did gather is that he is very excited about this trip and holds the Ducks up there with the other teams even though he didn't make an official visit here. He remembers Oregon very fondly from the Opening.
I also asked him about his interview last week in which the gist was two were on top, Nebraska and USC. He said "I didn't say that. I said they were two of the teams on top but there are others too like ASU and Oregon."
He is also very aware the Ducks want at least one more safety commit to this class. So fingers crossed for a good trip!
