We have some friends that have been going to the Ladies Clinic at Autzen for some time now.
This last weekend my gal went with them for the first time.
I can tell you that she had the most AMAZING time (her words again and again).
They started the day with the offensive coaches giving a chalk talk and then the defensive coaches doing the same thing.
They all loved Leavitt......
Then break for lunch (relationship tip...ladies love lunch)..and then on to the field at Autzen to actually run drills, tackle dummies, throw passes, run routes etc. My lady is 5' tall and she knows how to come off of the D-line in a 3 point stance and then how to evade a blocker and tackle a ball carrier with a hit and a twist to take him to the ground....and she did it on the field with tackling dummies!
I am very jealous. Too much fun.
Of course, there were raffles and prizes (relationship tip....women love free stuff).
The coach's wives were there and answered questions about, well, what is is like to be a coach's wife.
The girls LOVED the players who showed up to help out.
Brady Breeze was a particularly HOT item amongst the gals.
Throckmorton was there as well and while the girls could not pronounce his name, they all just loved him to pieces.
If you get any pushback from your lady about your fixation on Duck Football...sign her up for this next year and watch her drag your ass out of bed every Saturday to go and watch the Ducks!
