With the preliminary heat results in, all 4 Duck sprinters have qualified to advance to the semifinals of the 60 meters. Kirk Merritt with a 6.80 was the fastest of the four ducks, with Devon Allen and Tony Brooks-James right behind at 6.93. Charles Nelson qualified with a 6.96. I wouldn't read too much into these relative times as all these guys ran in different heat. It should get interesting as they advance and have to be sharp enough to advance to the finals. Great showing so far.
