I just read it. It might pain me, but I agree with him.
I believe that Oregon has good talent. Just having great talent doesn’t win football games. Great talent with poor fundamentals, bad schemes, inadequate game preparation, is really a waste of talent.
I especially like Dan, but his team did not look well coached. He, of corse, knows that, and will use this as a learning experience. What is surprising is that the basic fundamentals, especially blocking and tackling were so poorly executed. He obviously was successful in drilling fundamentals into his Georgia players. It is time to do the same for Oregon.
