Oregon committed OL Jackson Light is the other OL who is visiting this weekend we are featuring today. I spoke with him before camp and this is the interview here. I'll post our photos below. I also videoed several of his 1v1 clips and will compile them into one clip and post below.
Overall I was very impressed with him. He gets the ball out and gets his hands up quickly. He has a good strong base to work with and kept some powerful DL away from the 'QB' in the drills. His ability to move laterally while engaged is excellent for an interior lineman.
Would have loved to see some pulling drills.
I did not see him get beat once in the ten or so 1v1 reps I saw. He is very strong and athletic for his size, and kept guys his size or sometimes bigger/longer off their line.
His size will be just fine at center or guard but I would love for the Ducks to develop him as a center which is the position that can take him furthest in football.
He needs to get a little more flexible in his hips and learn to keep his hands inside better but overall excellent day for him.
