One of the important remaining in-home visits is today when Helfrich and a couple other coaches will be in Phoenix to see Connor Murphy.
I hear they were trying very hard to have Hoke there but he might not be cleared to recruit for Oregon quite yet. It may be later today or tomorrow that he is officially able to hit the road, not certain as of last night.
Not only has Murphy been high on the Duck but as a DE in the 4-3 his fit would be a little different than he was expecting. Also Chinander was his primary recruiter so he needs to get to know more members of the staff better.
Another reason this visit is important is that the Ducks have not been in contact with Murphy since Chins left and Pellum and Hoke moves. So things are different in Eugene and all that needs to be explained and clarified for him.
