First off, let me say I love Jevon Holland as a player. He's smart, has a great foundation in the game and plays his heart out. Over the season he's made some huge impact plays for the Ducks.
In the last couple weeks however he's been burned on some deep passes, a couple for touchdowns.
Has he been exposed in the Nickle position when he'd be more comfortable and more suited to safety? Is it a case of "hats off to the offense, they just made a play" Or does the sophomore need more improvement in his one-on-one cover skills?
The combination of Brady Breeze and Nick Pickett at safety sure worked. Breeze played the game of his career, and Pickett is always physical and active.
Be interesting what Heyward, Williams and Avalos cook up for the RPO-heavy Penn State offense.
