There's been a lot of discussion about how heavily our coaches have gone for Florida players and how we should go much more intensely for kids from California (for instance). I thought that was a fair topic for discussion and, using the search function in the database, came up with the following numbers:
FL: 46
CA: 40
TX: 17
GA: 11
OR: 8
UT: 8
NV; 5
AZ: 5
OH: 5
LA: 5
WA: 4
KY: 3
PA: 2
NY: 2
ID: 2
CO: 1
NC: 1
VA: 1
TN: 1
AL: 1
MS: 1
SC: 1
MI: 1
IA: 1
KS: 1
MO: 1
That looks like the net has been spread pretty wide, and, while Florida and Georgia are a lot higher than we're used to seeing, Texas is about the same and the West Coast has been blanketed pretty well. Overall, to my admittedly amateur eyes, it looks like the coaches are hitting the areas they are still well known while working hard to get their feet in all the doors possible in the areas we need to rely on in the future.
