- Justin Flowe is visiting USC as we speak. I expect Helton to do his best Kevin Bacon (Animal House) impression and say "all is well" but uncertainty concerning the future of the HC and the DC will continue to swirl.
- In the mean time Trenton Simpson, a 5* OLB from Charlotte who has been waiting for a Clemsonoffer finally got that offer today while on an official visit
- I have heard conflicting information on whether the offer was delayed due to Flowe. Our Clemson source says that Flowe (who is an ILB) had nothing to do with Simpson... that they have room for both
- Others have said it's an either/or situation and that the Simpson offer implies that Clemson feels Flowe is not going to be a Tiger.
- IMO, they would make room for both but I think Oregon is in a really good spot here. Mario had an in home after Clemson (who sent Venables and NOT Dabo) and the Ducks have made their absolute best pitch.
- The choice of Flowe will have ZERO to do with who else is signing. He lives the competition and will not shy away from any team based on depth chart or other signings.
