Taking some poetic license looking at recruiting this week:
It is too much of a cliché to refer to spring as a time of hope. It is too much of a cliché to call spring football some sort of cathartic revelatory opportunity to forget the past. Despite those cliché one-liners, sports is a window into the soul of individuals and society as a whole. In the shadows of concussion lawsuits, increasing awareness of violence on campus, rising costs, billion dollar television contracts and a fractured world of haves and have nots, there is always something pure to behold.
