Greetings all, I have not abandoned ship or been lost at sea - to the delight of some and the chagrin of others. Been a busy last two weeks as I approach a short 'mini' vacation next week. Getting everything lined up at work prior to being gone for a few days, along with way too much on my plate at home - including a sick dog - has left me painfully inadequate in my attempts to be more communicative on the boards.
For that, I apologize. Despite the (maybe) noticeable absence from communication, I have worked hard to keep up as much content as I can. tomorrow in flock Talk, we have 'Five Recruiting Thoughts' kind of a weekly summary of some recruiting tidbits - and I take a look at recruiting synergy.
Crazy to think that a month ago, the Oregon recruiting class was seemingly DOA and now there is a possibility for three Rivals 100 prospects to choose the Ducks; and to potentially go from just two commits to possibly eight or more by the end of June. Some were somewhat expected, others out of the blue, but it really does show that the coaches have been putting in a lot of work.
Anyway, my mini-vacation will involve being completely off grid starting Sunday. I will be back in town sometime Wednesday, but I will be doing nothing but sitting in the woods reading and writing. I will have my regular article already written before I leave.
