This is really messed up. I wonder if he should recuse then consider whether to sue this dude for defamation once the dust has settled, ie post season. I don't see Mullens as a "public figure" and to disparage him on TV is outside the realm of ordinary commentary. It's not Mullens fault things "might" play out the way Duck fans are hoping, and now we see our school placed in a ridiculously impossible situation. "I don’t trust him because he’s not honest, and I just think he has an influence on that committee. Maybe I should save my powder if Oregon gets in, but then it’s going to be too late.”
