This is really messed up. I wonder if he should recuse then consider whether to sue this dude for defamation once the dust has settled, ie post season. I don't see Mullens as a "public figure" and to disparage him on TV is outside the realm of ordinary commentary. It's not Mullens fault things "might" play out the way Duck fans are hoping, and now we see our school placed in a ridiculously impossible situation.
