Things always are a little better than the next day after a very disappointing one. I couldn't sleep well last night cuz I was upset about the way the Ducks played, and of course the referees on that fourth quarter drive of Stanford's were very one-sided.
But the thing is, the ducks are not the number three team in the nation or anywhere close. They are somewhere between 10 and 15 and that might even be generous. They have a lot of things to fix, and without a quarterback playing at least above average, they're going to lose another couple games.
But regardless, I have decided to just sit back and enjoy the good parts of this year, and let the frustrating parts go. I'm really hoping that this coaching staff improves in its play calling and clock management. That would help me sleep better on nights like last night where I'm tossing and turning.
