The Ducks are bringing in size and speed and elite athleticism. Thibodeaux, Funa, Ma'ae, Bridges, Wright and Poti and the rest are the type of players that can form the backbone of a beastly defense.
Some will blossom and some won't. Remember Canton Kaumatule, Ricky Heimule and Rodney Woods? But when you make defense a priority and search the country for players with drive and agility, some of them are going to become very good indeed.
Joe Salavea'a and Keith Heyward are great teachers of technique. Very excited to see what the two of them can do with this group, particularly if the Ducks can add one more elite cornerback prospect and another true linebacker.
