Cristobal notes from pre-Cal presser:
· Austin Faoliu is questionable this week due to an ankle injury
· Taj Griffin does intend to transfer. It is “playing time oriented” and the team supports him
· The team played like they wanted 90% of the time against Stanford. The other “10% where the breakdowns were pretty significant”
· Acknowledged that looking at Stanford last year versus this year it is obvious the team is significantly improved
· Huge kudos to the Autzen crowd. “They made it an unbelievable setting. It was absolutely awesome.”
· Cal has shown a “tremendous amount of playmaking ability” on their defensive side of the ball.
· Might see all three different Cal QB’s, all of who bring different skill sets with Garbers the passing guy.
· Berkeley will be a “great, great challenge for our guys”
· Is happy with the way the team is taking the Stanford loss, as lesson. “We cannot waste it and make sure there is clarity and progress”
