In today's column I endeavor to discuss the issues with the Oregon offense and how the Ducks can use these next two games to improve it:

We've certainly talked about this a lot. Many of us are frustrated. I still think there are things Oregon (and Herbert and Arroyo) can do to get the most out of this group and find points.
Certainly many of you will disagree with everything I said. I believe this can be a 10-win and make a good bowl, maybe even a Rose Bowl. Certainly they have a lot of work to do to get there,
The RPO game they've added makes this even more Justin's team. He makes the reads and has the freedom to choose the matchups. It's a great opportunity for him. They'll have more success with it over the rest of the nonconference schedule and against an exploitable PAC-12.
The best case scenario is that they build up some rhythm and confidence, finding out who their playmakers are going to be in a group that's struggled to move the ball at times.
You're either getting better and competing or you're thinking like a loser. Herbert, Dye and CMC are going to do everything they can to continue the upward arc of the program.
I think sometimes fans forget this was a 4-8 team just two years ago. It's a process. Some great recruiting and culture development has turned it around. Cristobal has said getting to 10 or 11 wins is just that much harder.
Can they get themselves ready to take the next step? Can they stop shooting themselves in the foot in big games?
