In El Paso the Buffs got hooked severely by the 'horns' who had to use their back-up QB in the second half. He was either pretty good (if you watched the game, you saw he was) or the Pac12 team doesn't play defense very well. Unless Oregon can change minds in their bowl game, the nation is going to think the latter.
Not a big deal record wise but it'll buttress the thinking that the PAC12 deserves less consideration in next year's NC conversation unless it goes to 8 teams. I've been hoping it would do it anyway. Perhaps all the lost revenue this year will push the expansion across the line.
