My wife and I traveled to South Carolina for the week 1 opener between Clemson and Texas A&M. Death Valley was an amazing place to see a game. 81,500 fans. Hot as hell! We sat near the Clemson sideline and in the midst of pure Clemson fans.
I can honestly report that we should be proud of Autzen Stadium. Death Valley certainly was loud but Autzen is as loud or louder!
I did like some of their in game activities. They have sections spell out Clemson going around the stadium as a cheer. We could do the same to go along with our Go Ducks cheer. They also have the BCS championship logo for each year they have been to the playoffs. I would like to see the same hanging from the south side of the stadium or near the roof of the north side.
We also toured Georgia and Tennessee’s stadiums. Athens was a great community, very welcoming and great food.
