I have to point out that Chaquinn transferred to Oregon last year from Portland State. She came to UO as the Big Sky triple jump champ, but by Duck standards she was not a big star. How often have we seen phenomenal success stories under this coaching staff? Track athletes have blossomed at Oregon. Oregon signs some great talent, but the biggest talent is on the coaching staff.
A few weeks ago, many fans assumed that this team would not be in the NCAA title race. Now we are wondering if they might be. The team is improving daily! They aren’t there yet, but now you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. As we follow the progress of this team, the joy will be in the journey. This is amazing. Charge on Ducks!
