Central Catholic's Ronnie Rust had his baseball scholarship pulled by OSU 10 days before signing day due to an injured shoulder, his second.
Prior to the injury, he was a very highly rated catcher and Oregon has offered him a chance to try both football and baseball.
We have a soft spot for this young man, he's been my kid's biggest 'big brother' of all of those guys from the team the last 4 years....really hoping he finds someplace he can get a chance.
Also supremely disappointed to see OSU turn their backs on a legacy that they offered so early. Ronnie says 'all the OSU stuff came down.'
