I just got off the phone with Tigard head coach Craig Ruecker who has been a 6A head coach in Oregon for over 40 years. Here are a couple fun facts.
- Lenzy only player ever to start as a true freshman for Ruecker
- Was only 135 pounds that year
- Has gained 20 pounds in the last year...and has gotten faster
- Just finished spring football. Lenzy was outstanding with vastly improved physicality on defense
- Fastest player Ruecker has ever coached...nobody else even close...including some guys who ended up in the NFL
