Hey everyone, I'm down in Mobile this week for the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game and had a chance to talk to a few people who know Bo Nix and/or have worked with him throughout his high school and college career.
As some of you might know, a lot of quarterbacks come to the Mobile area for NFL Draft prep following the conclusion of bowl season. I asked around to see if Bo would be coming and right now it seems like he's truly undecided to stay or go. I don't think he's received a draft grade back yet and the word here was that he could project as a late first rounder or as low as a third or fourth round pick.
I think in any normal pre-NIL year, it would be a no-brainer for him to leave. But if Oregon is able to put together a package that is comparable to a third round NFL salary, I think it's very real that he could stay another year.
The final draft grade could go a long way toward helping him make a decision, but I think there are still some moving parts on both sides and at least some hope from an Oregon fan's perspective that he could be back in Eugene next season.
