EE's and attrition-official announcements?

I noticed the goducks roster has been updated to add a year and remove senior and remove staff that is gone or has been announced. I don't recall when they add the EE players or remove those who are no longer enrolled. I know before spring practice we will have an updated roster. I can't recall if the head coach will make any announcements before spring (except for Feb. signees).

DF4L teased us with a 'check the directory' on Johnson's transfer yesterday. I (please don't judge me) look for early enrollees and players I am not sure will return at uoregon.edu/find people when winter and spring classes begin. I cannot get a listing for DJ or Deonte Johnson, I also come up with no match found for Shough and there are plenty of Woods, but no Haki. We know they are enrolled per their twitter. So, is there a different directory I should be looking at? My searches this morning were so weird I am not going to consider them as correct info.

Listed: Hanson, Herbert (I started with some I knew should be there), McGraw, Ofodile Lovette, Felix.
Not listed: Gibson, Stewart, Davis, McNeal, Verdell, Baker, Popo. I stopped there (had to go to work and figured database not up to date). That would be a lot of attrition. We know Ofodile is gone but he is still listed as a student so I don't know what is up with this resource.

No comments on the B-Ball team????

It's hard to believe and yes still early but we're looking at the N.I.T. at best. This is a bit like football in that we have been spoiled lately so this hard to watch. Altman has his work cut out for him and frankly I'm not sure this group is going to come around in time.
There is ZERO inside game offensively and other than Wooten being a solid rim protector no inside defensive players either. K.W. is too slight to defend a true big man IMO. We don't even have a guy IMO that wants to be a P.F. mentally defensively either....:(. The whole team lacks a consistent defensive effort which as we all know is more mental then anything.
Offensively we have guys who want to just shoot the three and the consistent ball movement is very poor which Dana keeps saying over and over. This is one of the things teams have always picked up by now in his system. Could it be we have a few too many "selfish" players?? We don't have anybody that can just blow by guys at will and create, sure we can force things to get by a guy but I mean a guy like A.S.U.'s P.G.! And Troy Brown is just not "selfish" enough if you will. Which leads me to my last point....no on court leadership. In the last several years we have been spoiled with some great leaders and guys who just naturally got the team fired up...this year....nope.
Hopefully we get this thing turned around but just not seeing the chemistry out there....:(

Take-aways from las nights Championship game

The way Alabama dominated in the 4th Quarter is a tribute to their strength and Conditioning. They looked fresh and many Georgia players were gassed with hand on knees.Cristobal's plan to model his team approach after Alabama, "the Alabama Way"is right on.
It all starts with a very intense Strength and Conditioning program even before the first practice. That is why he is emphasizing that the Strength and Conditioning coach hire is so extremely important. I have heard he may even take 2 S&C coaches and use Radcliffe as well giving us 3 S&C Coaches. Alabama dominates in the 4th quarter for this reason; they have the conditioning and the will to finish every game strongly.
The other aspect that Alabama does well is to have a loaded Recruiting department with many back office workers and turning the Recruiting process into a science where no recruit is ever overlooked.
They also have several "Football analysts"(older ,experienced former Coaches to rely on for advice and take up some of the slack in the administrative end of running a Football Program. This is what it takes to be a truly "elite team". "Elite facilities"" of course are part of the equation but I think it is even more important to have an "elite cadre"of Coaches and Staff to develop a championship team.
Cristobal, having worked under Saban realizes this. Of course this is not cheap. I understand that Alabama's budget for assistant Coaches and ancillary staff is 18 million/year. He himself ,as HC, makes 12 million/year, the highest paid HC in College Football.Phil knight are you listening?

Charles Clark - hmm

I had been told from very early in the process that Charles Clark would be sticking with the Ducks. This afternoon, however (afternoon my time!), I got a text about Clark and Ole Miss. I had not heard anything so I did some digging and Ole Miss insiders say that Clark was interviewing there possibly as early as today.

A certain former coach is also still working to lure him to the FSU staff as well so this is definitely something on which to keep an eye.
