4-star WR Josh Moore...

Another Rivals250 WR with an official visit set up. Mike Farrell caught up with him in Orlando at the UA week.

Josh Moore profile
"I don’t have a top list right now but I do have a few schools I am interested in: Florida State, A&M, Texas, Alabama, Oregon and USC."

In terms of his Oregon visit, "I have scheduled Oregon for January 26th," said Moore.

Oregon will be his fourth official visit and he will be at FSU the weekend before. How did the Ducks make the cut for the former Nebraska commit?

"For one they are giving me the opportunity to play both sides," said Moore. "That is something I really want to do at the next level. The schools I have named are giving me that option in addition to track also."

OT: Coaching search...

in Tallahassee is getting a bit entertaining. FSU fans starting to freak out as they keep missing on the guys they want.

Latest one appears to be Ron Dugans, who will stay at Miami over an offer to come back to his alma mater.

Failure to secure a defensive coordinator in the next couple days could cause them to miss out on former Nole TBuck (Terrell Buckley).

I'm sure they will end up with some solid coaches, it is just funny to see the panic that has set in for some of the Taggart worshipers.

ROYCE FREEMAN RE: SWT

From an interview dated August 14, 2017:

JM: What’s your initial impression of coach Willie Taggart?
RF: He’s a good dude and he really cares about us as individuals, even though he barely knows us. I can see that already. He’s a man of his word. He’s a very genuine guy. He has a lot of passion for what he does. That’s what I think of him so far.

I don't know whether to laugh or puke...... (about SWT...not RF)

Mini Update: Williams

So, not much movement here. I know Oregon wants him and there are about 10 levels of management that must be dealt with when hiring an assistant coach - it's not like Mario can snap his fingers and boom, a coach is hired.

But there is a USC insider who 'speaks with Donte daily' that says the LB coach designation might be a hold-up for Donte. Yes, he coached LB's as a grad assistant, but has been a DB coach for the majority of his (short) coaching tenure. It's not a 'deal breaker' necessarily, but if something happens and he chooses elsewhere, according to this source, that could be the hang up.

And yes, USC fans want him as much as many Oregon fans.

UCF - About to beat Auburn?

I will be honest, I have never heard great things about Scott Frost the person and found his "not for 8 million" comment extremely disrespectful to the program that have him his first big time job.

Nonetheless, I respect his decision to be open and honest with his team and to finish what he started. His team is well coached and more creative offensively than I would have imagined.
