Can Three SEC Teams Land in CFP?

Top 6 - Coaches Poll Week 12
1. LSU

3. Clemson
4. Alabama
5. Georgia
6. Oregon

I think we can all agree, this is not setting up well for Oregon. Is there ieven an outside chance 3 teams from the SEC land in the CFP? If so, here’s how:

1. Clemson goes undefeated.
2. Alabama wins all their remaining games and thumps Auburn.
3. Georgia wins the East, thumps Auburn, and slips by LSU in a close SEC championship game.
4. LSU wins the west but loses a tight game to Georgia on the SEC championship game.
5. Ohio State loses to Michigan in their last game of the season.

If that happened and Oregon wins out the final 6 could look like this:
1. Clemson
2. Georgia
3. LSU
4. Alabama
5. Ohio St
6. Oregon

Inside the Huddle

Okay all, this one is a long one. Been working on this for some time and it is the first of two parts.

I met Coach Chance Hudson prior to the Oregon Auburn game and have been in contact with him frequently this season. Yesterday, we spoke at great length and went over the recruitment of Kyron and Keyon, Keyon's development and what it's like to be the father of two elite athletes and the difference of being a coach and father in those situations.

Inside The Huddle

It's a successful football season if...

* You're a Beaver fan and you think your team will finish the season.

* You're a Stanford fan and the 3rd string RG's girlfriend got an A in molecular biology.

* You're a WSU fan and the coach only throws the team under the bus after home games.

* You're a UCLA fan and the conference schedule starts before people start saying, "wait 'til next year."

* You're a USC fan and they finally found the second song in the marching band's playlist.

* You're a Colorado fan and you finally figured out "Go Buffs" doesn't involve streaking.

* You're a Utah fan and the national media finally spelled your school name correctly.

* You're a Cal fan and more than 20% of your players know what the O in Offensive Coordinator stands for.

* You're an Arizona fan and basketball has started.

* You're an ASU fan and you finally realized the other fans aren't chanting "Fork You".

* You're a UW fan and anything happens...you'll claim 1/2 of the national championship anyway.

It will take a long time before we know the entire class. The signings go into the summer, and the surprises from other countries and transfers from other schools sometimes aren’t known until the rosters come out in the fall. However, in a couple of days it starts. There are some huge recruits that have UO on their short list. Let’s cross our fingers and enjoy the process!

Bama or Oregon looking forward

So much FB still to be played, it's all pretty meaningless, but this seems to suggest UO has a better shot with one loss than does Bama with one loss. On the other hand, they don't seem to take into acct. Tua was not 100% vs LSU and Bama still came very close. So if they beat Aub at Aub, and they probably will, well then...
Also, Okl or Baylot could easily be spoilers. The SEC and BIG champs seem a lock at this point, barring utter catastrophes, as does Clemson .
